Financial Report: First Bank CD# 8895 was deposited into the ChemFlex Account.

Payment of the Bills: The clerk over paid $24.88 in the Electronic Funds Transfer Payment System with the IRS 941payment for the Township. An extra payment of $185.10 was also incorrectly entered into the EFTPS and taken out of the First Responders. It will take six weeks for the IRS to process the corrections. The Election Inspector wages still need to be paid. The clerk needs further information on mileage before their checks can be processed. Moved by Carolyn Towsley, supported by John Conforte to pay the bills and the Election Inspector wages. Motion carried.

Unfinished Business:

1. Fire Department and First Responder Report: Everything is switched from propane to gas at the Fire Station. The 6x6 is out of service right now due to a failed pump. The transmission is also slipping. The office internet is switched to Frontier. The Fire Department if working on a policy about filling swimming pools. Training was conducted at Brower Park and the Fire trucks participated in the Roger’s Height’s Dam Festival. The First Responders had 24 calls last month. Commercial site reviews will need to be done this year. The Fire Department is working on an estimate of the hours required to complete the reviews. Mike Owen has resigned because of health considerations.

2. Assessor and Supervisor’s Report: No comment.

3. Treasurer’s Report: 27% of taxpayers have paid and 13% off taxes are paid. My computer had a bug in it. The HP technician was able to correct it remotely.

4. Clerk’s Report: The conduction of the election went well. I was contacted by the MLCC and asked to clarify our Resolution from December 13, 2011. The requested correction was made and a copy of our minutes was sent for clarification.

Unfinished Business:

1. Mutual Aid: The Supervisor has received several calls asking if we have an agreement with Morton Township that would allow our eastern residents to make use of Morton Township’s ISO insurance ratings. We have a Mutual Aid agreement with them, but this would require a Direct Aid agreement. We will be contacting Morton Township and looking into what this would require.

2. Roads: The Township needs to begin considering what we want to suggest for Road Projects in 2013. The supervisor has received an email asking about paving 180th. We probably won’t get to that for a couple of years. There are several roads that would benefit from more gravel.
